What Is Neo Noir?: The Man Who Wasn't There (2001)

The Coen brothers had a conversation with the late Texas Governor, Ann Richards, at around about the time (I think, not sure) O, Brother came out (I think she may have been in NYC getting treatment for the cancer that finally took her life in 2006). She loved O, Brother and wondered what they were working on next. They responded by telling her that their new movie was about a barber who wants to become a dry cleaner. It's their tribute to German Expressionism (the heart and soul of classic film noir).
