Jolie: The Bone Collector

Love her or hate her (there doesn't seem much in between), Angelina Jolie is descended from the Iroquois on her mother's side of the family.  Her mother was involved with charities to benefit Native American because of her ancestry. Her mother was a co-founder of the All Tribes Foundation.  She was also involved in producing a documentary on John Trudell later in life (Trudell was in attendance at her 2007 memorial).  So Jolie's mom was very much involved in Native issues.  Her charitable work within the "new world" was, according to Jolie, a serious influence on her (some would say for better or for worse) decision to become involved with charity work herself.
