Weird Shark 8: Carpet Sharks

Carpet Sharks are also known as Wobbegong's are a family of about 12 sharks with a high degree of strange colorations and even bodily extensions making them absolutely perfection for camouflage along the bottom of the ocean floor.  One look at the first species above and it's immediately obvious why they are called Carpet Sharks.  They ambush predators and have a highly varied diet, in fact, they will try to eat almost anything that is not bigger than they are:  no finicky palettes here!!  Unfortunately, even these bottom dwelling sharks are not immune to finning.
