Weird Shark 7: The Saw Tooth

Unlike Megalodon, this shark has been known for a very, very long time!!  It is found in extremely ancient rock art produced by aboriginals in Australia.  It's strange snout has even been used as a weapon by peoples there and elsewhere in the south Pacific.  The fish uses the saw to disable prey.  It is one of the only species of shark that can actually survive in fresh water and are known in the rivers of Australia and India.  We also have them around Florida.  Read more about it and related fish at Wikipedia.
