Like just about every major city in the country, and the world for that matter, New York has ghost walks. Below is information about some of them with information that would allow anyone to make up a walk of their own. I prefer that later, with as many stops by historic eats and DRINKS like Katz Deli, where you can order the best pastrami sandwich in the world, really (my personal favorite is mix of Pastrami and their homemade chopped liver--sounds bad, taste good, lots of garlic, with a green tomato pickle and kosher dill on the side). Or McSorley's Pub, where the food is Irish and good (may favorite is 6 dark ales, 6 light ales, and the cheese and onion plate with homemade mustard that will blow your head off--the beers or small, hence the large order),. Or even Keen's historic chop house, which is reported to actually be haunted--by a ghost waiter no less, it also a survivor in a city increasingly low-balling it for tourisms sake--this is where a steak is a STEAK, and if you want to be traditional you have that with some creamed spinach, I'm told the Mutton Chop is the real treasure here--whatever you order, it's frowned upon not to order a large whisky to go with it!!
