Stupid Creature Double Feature

If there is anything worse than Kottentail with rabbits and "rabid creatures" in the Catacomb of Creepshows 50 movie pack, it's The Forever Dead.  At least Kottentail does try to be funny--and truly it's any one's bad if they hate it because they take even just a little bit serious.  But The Forever Dead badly wants to be a real zombie flick.  OK, so it's low budget, the director asked for general volunteers for the cast and crew--just the sort of no-budget indie that is supposed to have kudos for at least making it to an end product.  But I just can't get passed the idea that this movie thinks it's really riffing off the likes of G. Romero and D. Cronenberg in some kind of serious artistic way.  There a rabbit that looks like roadkill infecting people as in Rabid and later there are a bunch of people trapped in a house arguing with each other as the infected zombies gather around for a late night meal.  Sounds promising, but believe me it's not.  Still it's got a killer bunny in it and this is Easter.  So we're going to brave it anyway. Gotta keep up with the theme.....

To post something truly amusing for Friday Frights, here's a photo of Andrew Lincoln (of The Walking Dead) with the "walker" that he "puts down" in the park in the episode "Days Gone By."  They're just kickin' it, taking a break on set (and, Lincoln is the son in law of 70's rocker Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull).
